Evans Vanosolve is a highly powerful, acid-based cleaner formulated for demanding descaling tasks in porcelain toilets and urinals. Its hydrochloric acid composition allows it to cut through heavy limescale and mineral deposits with ease, making it particularly effective in high-traffic washrooms and areas affected by hard water.
Designed for periodic deep cleaning rather than everyday use, it delivers fast, visible results where standard cleaners often fall short. The formula has a very low pH of around 0.2, reflecting its strength and effectiveness against stubborn buildup. It is supplied in a practical 1-litre bottle with an angled neck, allowing accurate application under the toilet rim where deposits tend to accumulate.
In addition to washroom use, Vanosolve can also be used outdoors for removing mortar, cement, or plaster residues from brickwork and patios, adding to its versatility. However, due to its acidic nature, it must not be used on stainless steel or enamel surfaces, as it can cause damage.
